OTEP: New Audio Interview With OTEP SHAMAYA Available

An audio interview with OTEP frontwoman Otep Shamaya, conducted recently by ChronixRadio.com, has been posted online at this location.

OTEP bassist Jason "Evil J" McGuire revealed during a recent interview that the band has worked out a split with Capitol Records and is shopping around for a new label.

OTEP has posted another new track, entitled "March of the Martyrs", on its MySpace page. The song comes off the group's long-awaited third full-length album, "The Ascension", due later in the year. The CD was recorded in New Orleans over the course of several months with Grammy-winning producer Dave Fortman (EVANESCENCE, MUDVAYNE).

OTEP recently parted ways with guitarist Karma Cheema (ex-AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE) and replaced him with Aaron Nordstrom.
